How to read these counts
- A count of 0 means the feed answered and reported nothing active. A card marked Feed unavailable means we could not reach the source, so the count is unknown. It is never silently shown as zero.
- Counts reflect only the feeds listed on each card. Severe weather and extreme temperature counts are United States alerts from NOAA/NWS, because that is the machine-readable official feed available to us; other countries’ warnings may exist without appearing here.
- Highest severity is the most serious level present among the events counted, using the ladder shown on each badge.
